Sociological report
Based on the results of in-depth interviews with Ukrainian female citizens who relocated to the European countries in search of temporary protection as a result of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
This report was prepared by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union within the framework of activities of the National Platform for Resilience and Social Cohesion. The initiative is being implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the project “Building Resilience in Conflict Through Dialogue”. Objectives of qualitative study:
- Investigate the reasons behind and conditions for the displacement of the Ukrainian women to the European countries;
- Identify the conditions of stay, peculiarities, and problems faced by the Ukrainian women after displacement;
- Develop basic guidelines for the European governments and Ukrainian authorities to address the existing problems and further support Ukrainian women in Europe.
